Main Ingredients

  • Chicken wings
  • Potatoes, onions, carrots

Seasonings

  • Garlic, soy sauce, Sichuan peppercorns

Preparation Steps

  1. Soak in water for 10–15 minutes, drain the blood water, and pat dry;
  2. Make shallow cuts on both sides of the chicken wings to ensure better flavor absorption;
  3. Add scallions, ginger, garlic, and 5 grams of Sichuan peppercorns;
  4. Pour in dark soy sauce for color, along with light soy sauce and regular soy sauce to taste. Mix well and refrigerate overnight for marination.

Cooking Steps

  1. Preheat the oven for 20 minutes;
  2. Grease the baking tray with oil;
  3. Cut the potatoes and carrots into chunks, lightly coat them with oil on both sides, and arrange them at the bottom of the tray;
  4. Take out the marinated chicken wings and place them on top of the potatoes;
  5. Drizzle with a small amount of honey if desired;
  6. Add the sliced onions;
  7. Cover the tray with aluminum foil;
  8. Place in the oven and bake at both upper and lower heat for about 40 minutes;
  9. Remove the foil and enjoy the delicious dish!
