Main Ingredients
- Kalimeris indica (Indian aster)
- Dried tofu (spiced)
Seasonings
- Sesame oil, fine salt
Cooking Steps
- Dice the dried tofu, blanch in boiling water briefly, drain, and place on a plate.
- Remove the old roots from the Kalimeris indica, wash thoroughly, blanch in boiling water until the color turns bright green, then remove, drain, chop finely, and place on top of the diced tofu.
- Add a small amount of sesame oil, sprinkle with fine salt, and mix well.
- (Optional: Add soy sauce to taste.)
Tips
Both the dried tofu and Kalimeris indica should be blanched briefly. This helps remove the beany taste from the tofu and enhances the aroma of the Kalimeris indica while also eliminating oxalic acid, making it healthier to eat. However, the blanching time should not be too long.
