Main Ingredients
- King oyster mushrooms
- Beef cubes or pork cubes (commonly known as "mother's meat" in some regions)
- Bell peppers (half red and half yellow)
- Green beans (optional)
Seasonings
- Minced garlic
- Soy sauce, cooking wine
Preparation Steps
- Cut the king oyster mushrooms into rolling wedges.
- Marinate the beef cubes in advance with soy sauce and cooking wine.
- Dice the bell peppers into small cubes.
Cooking Steps
- Heat oil in a pan, add minced garlic and beef cubes, stir-fry for a while (high heat until flames appear), about 1 minute (add green beans if using).
- Add the king oyster mushrooms and stir-fry with the beef until evenly mixed. Then, add a small amount of soy sauce and cooking wine. Stir-fry briefly before adding a little water and covering the pan.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes until the juices are released.
- Add the diced bell peppers and mix well with the beef and mushrooms in the pan.
- Simmer for another 5 minutes, then season to taste. The dish is ready to serve.
