Main Ingredients

  • Pork ribs, pork tenderloin
  • Lotus root, sweet bamboo shoots (also known as horse-hoof bamboo shoots)

Preparation Steps

  1. Blanch the pork ribs to remove blood impurities.
  2. Peel the lotus root and cut it into rolling wedges.
  3. Dice the bamboo shoots into cubes of approximately 2 cm³.

Cooking Steps

  1. Place all ingredients into a pressure cooker (or stew pot) with water. Cook under pressure for ten minutes, then turn off the heat.

Tip

Steaming over water enhances the flavor! You may add a moderate amount of goji berries and red dates.
