Main Ingredients
- Pork ribs, pork tenderloin
- Lotus root, sweet bamboo shoots (also known as horse-hoof bamboo shoots)
Preparation Steps
- Blanch the pork ribs to remove blood impurities.
- Peel the lotus root and cut it into rolling wedges.
- Dice the bamboo shoots into cubes of approximately 2 cm³.
Cooking Steps
- Place all ingredients into a pressure cooker (or stew pot) with water. Cook under pressure for ten minutes, then turn off the heat.
Tip
Steaming over water enhances the flavor! You may add a moderate amount of goji berries and red dates.
